The Bing 64 Clean/Gasket process includes the following steps ...(200 HR intervals)​ $835 + HST

1. Carbs are fully dismantled.

2. Carbs & Components are deep cleaned in our ultrasonic cleaner (Older models only).

3. Carb's components are removed from the cleaner and rinsed.

4. Carb's (bodies only) are soda blasted if necessary.

5. ROTAX Gasket kits are fitted (ROTAX #996 946 x 1)
-
6. Carbs are rebuilt.

Please note that prices include parts (gasket/o-ring kits), labour, consumables, the ROTAX gasket kits and in the case of the Rotax 912/914's Bing 64 carbs the butterfly valve's peen over screws. All carbs are deep cleaned (please note that later versions of the Bing 64 carburetor (body only) that contains epoxy resin are not ultrasonically cleaned - all other components are). All prices are inclusive, When preformed at our location. Estimated time in service 6.0 HRS. addition charges may apply if work is preformed off site.

When should I consider overhauling my Rotax 912 carbs?
We recommend that carbs that are overhauled either at 600 hours or more than 5 years since new or last overhauled (as part of Rotax's 5 year rubber replacement recommendation) whichever comes sooner. Commonly we get asked to overhaul Rotax 912 carbs at a 200 hour service when they get a full strip / inspection and it is discovered that the floats are flaking, weigh different amounts when they have surface dried, items like the jet needle show signs or wear, or the o-rings are no longer providing a seal as they were intended to due to rubber perishing.

• Check prop flange face for out of true
• Disassemble gearbox
• NDT dye penetrant to aluminum gearbox housing
• NDT magnetic particle inspection to prop shaft, gear set and components
• Check and reset break-away torque on slipper clutch
• Reassemble gearbox with new bearings, seals, spring washers, ring valves
$1,199.00 minimum
